Courtney began her career in the event industry almost 10 years ago. She has worked as a florist as well as an event coordinator and in catering. The details of each event and seeing the individuality of those planning come into focus are the driving force behind her passion. Courtney grew up in Indy, but attended college in Durango, CO. When she is not busy planning you can find her on or near a body of water with her Westie Finn, cooking for friends, or at the movies or a concert with her Big Lug of a boyfriend. “I look forward to each and every opportunity to help people celebrate the things most important to them.”
Shelby SturtzCatering & Event Coordinator
Shelby started her career with Sahm’s after graduating from Purdue University in 2013. As a Hospitality and Tourism Management major, Shelby was able to work at The Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, French Lick Resort and Casino and catered for the Purdue football stadium. When she is not in the office, Shelby is attending concerts, out on the lake, spending time with her niece Eliana, or traveling to different states to visit friends. At Sahm’s, Shelby works closely with our clients to make sure satisfaction is guaranteed. In fact, she says her favorite part of planning events and weddings is getting to know the clients! “By the end my clients seem like family to me.”
Lisa ViceAccounting Director
Lisa’s career spans three decades in a variety of management positions. She began working with Sahm’s at the Tower in 2009 with a focus on accounts receivables, although you’ll find her helping to manage various aspects of the catering and cafeteria operations. Her goal is to provide a seamless and stress-free process for clients. Lisa, an Indy native, enjoys the city, spending time in rural settings and being with her two children and grandchild. “I want clients to know that we genuinely appreciate your business, whether a small gathering or full service function, and you can always reach out to me for help with anything!”
Wildon PinedaExecutive Chef & Managing Partner
Chef Wildon Pineda, a Guatemalan native, found his passion for food working beside his mother at a very young age. A self-taught chef, Wildon, started his career working at a national restaurant chain quickly moving into the Kitchen Manager position. Wildon started with Sahm’s Companies in 2000 managing Sahm’s Place. In 2001 he opened Sahm’s at the Plaza and took over Sahm’s Catering. In 2010 he opened Sahm’s Atrium at the Tower and Sahm’s Tavern. He is a managing partner and the executive chef of Sahm’s Catering and Sahm’s Atrium at The Tower.
